Is sin really serious?  Sin is very serious and when sin grows up the finished product is death. Wages are earned and deserved.  All sinners are deserving of eternal physical and spiritual death.  Jesus offers eternal life for free!  A free gift is the opposite of wages.  He offers life!  Turn and live!
