As Americans we have individual freedom.  Freedom to do whatever we want to do.  True freedom, however, is the freedom to do the will of the Father.  Jesus says if you stick with me and practice what I preach, you are a true disciple and you will be free indeed. Your ancestors can’t give you freedom or salvation.  Jesus doesn’t give us freedom to do what we want, rather freedom to follow God.
