Per the recommendations of the CDC and our state and federal government, One Life Church will not be holding in-person services or events of any size until restrictions are lifted. We believe this is honoring to God and allows us to love our neighbors well.
How is One Life Church worshiping today?
Also, look for more online video devotions throughout the week to encourage you in your walk with Christ.
What about my kids?
Kate is producing video lessons for your kids which will premier on Sundays at 9 a.m., as well as Tuesdays. These lessons can be viewed on the One Life Kids church website page, YouTube, and Facebook.
Where can I find help with food?
If this situation continues for weeks or months it is likely many of us and/or our neighbors will reach points of real need. There are two main causes of these personal needs. The first is job loss and second is high-risk individuals who should not be leaving home even for groceries.
In either circumstance, please reach out to the church at 814-317-3171 or email Pastor Guy directly at email@example.com.
We have many members willing to deliver food. Along with that, we often partner with Trinity Food Pantry and their stock is strong today.
How should I respond to COVID-19?
These type of situations stir fear and anxiety in us. That is a natural response, and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. However, as believers, we know our ultimate hope is found in Jesus. He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Together we will navigate this while being great witnesses of God’s peace.
Although we aren’t gathering for services, I would encourage you to reach out to church family through calls, texts, email, and social media.
Pray for those affected by the virus and for those God placed in leadership for this critical time period. Also, pray for God to stir hearts and bring a much needed spiritual revival in our world.
Visit the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website for how to protect yourself and what to do if you’re sick.
